Who is responsible

Travel Marvel is run by Christos Voulgarakis, an individual based in Greece, who is the data controller. Contact: hello@travel-marvel.com.

Without an account

Your trip details and quiz answers live only in the page address (URL). We do not store them.

When you ask for a day-by-day plan, our server sends the destination, dates, number of travellers, pace and quiz answers to Anthropic (Claude) to choose places and write short texts. No name, e-mail or account is sent. The same plan may be kept on our hosting provider's cache for up to 7 days, so the same request is answered faster.

With an account

To sign in we need your e-mail address; we send you a sign-in link or code.

We keep what you add: a display name, your home airport, your travel style (quiz answers), your companions (name, relationship, year of birth and their quiz answers) and the trips you save. Please add companions only if they agree. For children under 16 we keep only name, relationship and year of birth; they never take the quiz.

We use this data only to run your account and personalise results (legal basis: contract, GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).

Statistics and partner links

We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not identify you.

When you click a link to Booking.com, GetYourGuide or Skyscanner, we count the click: partner, destination, page, language and country. We do not store your IP address or link the click to you (legal basis: legitimate interest, art. 6(1)(f)). On the partner's site, its own privacy policy and cookies apply, and we may earn a commission if you book.

Who processes data for us

Vercel (hosting and statistics), Supabase (database, sign-in and e-mails), Anthropic (AI day plans), Google (maps, road times and opening hours: when a map loads, Google receives your IP address). Some of them are in the USA; transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Our hosting provider keeps short technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security and troubleshooting.

Cookies

We only use cookies that the site needs: to keep you signed in (Supabase) and to remember your language if you switch it. We use no advertising or tracking cookies, so we do not ask for cookie consent.

How long we keep data

Account data stays until you delete your account; then it is deleted immediately. Click counts contain no personal data and are kept for statistics.

Your rights

You can see, correct, download and delete your data at any time. In your account page, use "Download my data" and "Delete my account". You can also object to processing or ask us to restrict it by writing to hello@travel-marvel.com.

If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date below.
